About the Recipe
Growing up in the island nation of the Philippines, seafood has always been a staple in my diet. It's comforting, familiar, and full of flavor.
Recently, I found myself craving the Italian baked shrimp we enjoyed on one of our date nights—a simple yet unforgettable dish. I thought, Why not try making it at home?
The preparation turned out to be quick and easy. Having a jar of premixed Italian seasoning on hand was a lifesaver—I didn’t even have to blend the herbs myself.
One of the things I love about this recipe is how hands-off it is. While the shrimp bake in the oven, I can catch up on chores or prep the rest of the meal. We paired it with a warm whole wheat baguette and a fresh green salad on the side. It was light, satisfying, and exactly what I was craving.
